Southpaw Hald surges to fast start
The Old Dominion University baseball season is in full flux. With out of conference play over, the focus it shifts to Colonial Athletic Association play. If the Monarchs are going to do well at the NCAA tournament, they will need ace pitcher Kyle Hald to continue his strong start to the season.

as the Lady Monarchs defeated American University 63-55 in
the first round of the WNIT.
Kings of the court
In an atmosphere embodying the best rivalry in the CAA, the Monarchs celebrated a triumphant 73-70 victory over the despised Virginia Commonwealth University Rams. The Monarchs won on Senior Day in front of a ruckus crowd of 8,424 screaming fans inside the Ted. With the victory the Monarchs concluded a perfect season at home and pushed their home winning streak to 23 games.
